Mr. Phearum Housing Rights Task Force Cambodia
Dear Mr. Phearum,
It is our great pleasure to invite you to participate in the fourth World Justice Forum, to be held 8-11 July 2013, in The Hague, Netherlands. The Forum is a global gathering of leaders from a variety of different sectors – including business, government, civil society, and academia – to develop practical, multidisciplinary programs that strengthen the rule of law.
Since 2006, The World Justice Project (WJP) has been building a global, multidisciplinary movement to strengthen the rule of law for the development of communities of opportunity and equity. As part of the WJP’s engagement work, the World Justice Forum provides a platform for leaders and change agents from all work disciplines to explore and debate crucial rule of law issues with a focus on shared learning and collaboration. For complete information about the Forum, including the Agenda, please visit the conference website.
During the Forum, 600 leaders and practitioners from more than 100 countries will have the opportunity to participate in formal plenaries and active breakout sessions, design innovative ground-level rule of law programs, engage with researchers and scholars during “workshop” hours, and network with other leaders in the rule of law movement. Confirmed speakers for the World Justice Forum IV include: Hon. Anthony Kennedy, Supreme Court of the United States (USA); Ai Weiwei, Artist and Architect (China); Dr. Hawa Abdi, Dr. Hawa Abdi Foundation (Somalia); Santiago Siri, Grupo 42 (Argentina); and Purnima Mane, Pathfinder International (India). The Forum also provides a venue for discussion and debate about the findings of the WJP Rule of Law Index ®, an innovative assessment tool designed to measure how countries adhere to the rule of law in practice. More information about the World Justice Project is available on our website at www.worldjusticeproject.org.
Invitations to the World Justice Forum IV are based upon demonstrated community leadership and commitment to change. Delegates will include key rule of law stakeholders from a broad spectrum of disciplines, including artists, businesspeople, conservationists, educators, engineers, faith leaders, government officials, human rights activists, the media, military leaders, public health workers, and public safety advocates.
The participant spaces to the Forum are limited, and RSVPs will be accepted on a rolling basis, so we encourage you to confirm your attendance as early as possible if you would like to attend. Participants at the World Justice Forum are responsible for their own travel, lodging and other travel costs, and for securing their own travel documents such as passports and visas. A limited number of travel scholarships will be available through a rolling application process, as funding allows.
To RSVP for the World Justice Forum IV, please contact the WJP by fax at +1-202-747-5816 or by email at worldjusticeforum@wjpnet.org. We look forward to your early confirmation of attendance, and to welcoming you in The Hague.
Sincerely yours,
William H. Neukom Founder & CEO |
